Resolved Question: Does AARP drop insured elderly like 0bama says insurance companies do all of the time?

AARP is not an insurance company. They set up deals for their members with licensed insurance companies. AARP has little control over how the insurance companies deal with the clients.

To tell the truth, other than the claims I have heard from those pushing Obama's health care reform, I have never once heard about an insurance company simply dropping somebody. Perhaps this is something that is more common in the more liberal areas? Or maybe it is fear mongering and fairy tales? I don't know because of lack of experience with it.

**Brooook: Like I said, I doi not know anybody it has ever happened too so I do not know if it is a fact or a fairy tale. All I know is that the ones pushing Obama's helath care overhaul harp about it. Since I do not ever trust any political agenda from any party I do not simply believe what they say. I've heard it, nothing more or less.

I was a cancer patient, as was my dad, my sister has Chrohn's Disease. All serious and expensive problems. Never even a hint of being dropped.
