Resolved Question: AARP? Health insurance cost? Car insurance?

I am an AARP member so that I can have their car insurance which is handled by the Hartford Insurance co. I have not filed a claim against them, so I cannot speak to the claims side of the equation. My car insurance premiums are less than I have been quoted elsewhere. They do send out a request for your actual car milage about every two years to be sure they are rating you correctly. If you travel, your milage goes up and so does your insurance costs.
IF your parents use the car in their business, they may not be able to get this insurance depending on what they do for employment. I advise them to disclose how they use the car in their business when they apply to get the correct answer.

This insurance does not cover one of my cars, because I use it just for making deliveries. I have to get commercial insurance for that car elsewhere.

Like many insurance companies, I can have my checking account drafted monthly to make it easier to budget and not get in a squabble about a payment arriving on time.

I do not know anything about their health insurance, so I defer to the insurance agent who gave you an answer there.
